In-class problems#
What are In-class Problems?
During the week between classes, you are expected to work through the Online Learning Material (OLM) provided on these web pages to study the relevant material for the upcoming class.
During the class, we will take time to answer any questions you may have and then work on more advanced in-class problems together, which you can find at the end of each section of the OLM.
Since this is the first week, we ask you to finish going through the OLM of week 1 (Introduction to Unix) and study the materials of week 2 (Good practices and reproducibility) before next Friday. After preparing the OLM, fill out the self assessment (tick boxes and potential questions). During the class of week 2, we will resolve questions regarding the OLM and then take time to solve advanced in-class problems on both sections.
Lastly, if you have questions along the way, remember that you can use the Slack channel to ask questions to the assistants or discuss with fellow students.
